Studying for HSK? Here’s how to do it right:
1. Know the Format
Each level has a unique structure. Practice sample tests available on www.chinesetest.cn.
2. Build Vocabulary Daily
Use flashcards, apps, and context-based examples. Learn usage, not just definitions.
3. Practice Listening and Speaking
Watch Chinese shows with subtitles, listen to audio podcasts, and repeat sentences. Join language exchange groups.
4. Write Regularly
From HSK 3 onward, writing is tested. Start with short sentences, then progress to paragraphs.
5. Mock Tests and Reviews
Timed mock exams help with pacing and build confidence. Analyze your mistakes and revise smartly.
At The Oriental Dialogue, we’ve designed an HSK course that combines all these strategies — with weekly practice tests, feedback, and revision sessions. Check our schedule here.
