The first two levels are Elementary, the next two are Intermediate and the last two are Advanced levels.

Chinese Mandarin is a fairly easy language to speak when compared to other languages.

Therefore, a student who has completed the first two levels (Elementary) can easily communicate in a simple and a direct manner to any Chinese national and understand his language. He can comfortably travel across China and can communicate his needs to a Chinese National.

At the end of the beginner’s level, his vocabulary is roughly of 150 – 200 words and is able to read and write upto 60 – 70 Chinese Characters.

At the end of the Level 2 (Elementary), his vocabulary grows up to around 300 words and is able to read and write up to 200 Chinese Characters.

When a student goes beyond Level 2 of Mandarin Chinese at The Oriental Dialogue, he can choose to either switch his route to “Business Chinese” or continue with Level 3 of Mandarin Chinese. Very few students in Pune have reached this level of Chinese. This level will therefore make you an asset to most Engineering, IT and Automobile companies – not only in Pune but also across Maharastra and India. Level 3 Chinese will enable you to read/ write type more than 500 Chinese Characters!

Level 4 of Chinese builds up a strong vocabulary for you and technically understand grammar and its patterns. You will be able to discuss a wide range of topics in Chinese and be capable of communicating with Chinese speakers at a high standard.

Learners of Level 5 & 6 are able to read Chinese newspapers and magazines, watch Chinese films and are capable of writing and delivering a lengthy speech in Chinese. They are able to easily understand any information communicated in Chinese and are capable of smoothly expressing themselves in written or oral form.
