Learning Mandarin Chinese has proven good for both Children and Adults alike.
Studying Chinese stimulates different parts of the human brain because the language is very different from English in sound, tone and script. It is thus considered a great tool for a child’s early development.
Researchers have proven that people who speak Mandarin use both temporal lobes of their brain to understand the language. In addition to this, the practice of handwriting, especially that of the Chinese Characters aid the development of motor skills, learning shapes and letters, the visual identification of graphics, and keeps the mind sharp.
Chinese characters are complex in structure and writing involves strokes in all four directions: up, down, left, and right. The sequential movement of the fingers and hand to form a character activates neural activity in the working, thinking, and spatial memory of the brain of the learners.
With China’s economy becoming stronger by the day, learning the language will always prove as an advantage and will surely pay its dividends.
In “Chinese for the Young” program, we make Chinese Language fun for the Children.
An immersion method is used where the trainer speaks to the child in Chinese and stimulates response from the child in the Mandarin Language. We also use many other tools like songs, games and other activities to add more fun to the learning.
