LEVELS

Beginner's Level

30 hours, INR 9,440 (Inc. taxes)
The Beginner’s Course is the first step toward learning Chinese. Students are introduced to various aspects of the Mandarin language including accurate pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and the romanisation of the Chinese language. Students learn basic greetings and how to talk about their interests, the weather, buying items, and exchanging currency among other topics.

Level 1

60 hours, INR 14,160 (Inc. taxes)
Level 1 is for students who have already learnt the basics of the Chinese language. At this level, students learn to read and write Chinese characters called Hanzi. They learn to talk about their families, days, dates, and time. Students can hold conversations while shopping, give directions, express their likes and dislikes, and order food and beverages. They are also equipped to construct sentences with different structures and grammar patterns. Level 1 is equivalent to HSK Level 1 and the course includes HSK preparation and mock tests for those interested.

Level 2

60 hours, INR 14,160 (Inc. taxes)
Level 2 is a detailed course that gives students an overall understanding of the language. Here the focus is on the correct sentence constructions, patterns, and communication in complex situations. Students learn to speak and write about daily activities, personal health, weather, and food. They learn grammar structures to construct complex, nuanced sentences. Level 2 is equivalent to HSK Level 2 and the course includes HSK preparation and mock tests for those interested.

Level 3A and above

60 hours, INR 18,880 (inc. taxes)
Levels 3 and 4 are divided into 2 parts, each consisting of 60 teaching hours. Levels 5 and 6 are divided into 3 parts of 60 hours each. After Level 3, students can apply for jobs requiring Chinese proficiency and scholarships in China. Levels 4 and 5 allow students to work in high-customer interaction environments. Levels 5 and 6 are literature-oriented. For those who wish to learn Mandarin for business or trade, Business Chinese is an option after Level 3.

Why Mandarin Chinese?

Mandarin Chinese is the most spoken language in the world with over 1 billion speakers. It is an official language used for Government communication in 5 countries as well as a working language in the United Nations. Given its universal nature, knowing Mandarin opens up a world of opportunities for learners from any background.

Mandarin earns a bad reputation for being the hardest language to study but we’re here to reassure you that this is a myth! Like any other foreign language, learning Mandarin takes practice and effort but it is an incredibly logical language. Especially for Indians, who usually know at least one Indian language, Mandarin is far easier than for those who only know English.

Our curriculum has been designed keeping Indian learners in mind. We use the Devanagari script to aid with pronunciation and pictorial references while teaching characters. Our courses are broken down into palatable levels with levels 1-6 corresponding to HSK examinations for those interested. We also offer HSK and HSKK preparatory classes. For levels 3 and above, contact us for batches.
